What is THCA?
THCA is a cannabinoid that occurs naturally in raw hemp flower. In its raw state it is not intoxicating. Heat changes that: when THCA is heated it converts to delta-9 THC, so a THCA product used that way is intoxicating.
How is this different from regular THC?
Chemically it is the acid form of THC, and it comes off the hemp plant that way. The federal hemp standard is written around delta-9 THC content by dry weight, which is why these products are sold as hemp. Once heated, what you experience is delta-9 THC.
How much should I use?
